Nickerson Farms is a sort of throwback to the good 'ol days of Americana. I was inspired to do this model because there is an old Nickerson Farms building next to US 6(and the BNSF mainline) near Waverly, NE, which I have driven past for the last 15 or so years. The structure is kind of distinctive because of the huge roof and the old tudor styling. It is now a strip club, but for many years sat empty after Nickerson Farms fell victim to a faltering economy in the late 70's. This was my second attempt at creating a model for Trainz, and I am not 100% satisfied with it, but I liked it well enough to submit it to the Auran D/L station. I am posting it here, just in case anyone might need an unusual restaurant for their layout. Feel free to e-mail me with comments, criticisms, or suggestions!
